About MPS Risk Solutions

MPS Risk Solutions Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Medical Protection Society (“MPS”)) is an insurance company authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority.

The company was created with the specific intention of addressing the corporate malpractice insurance needs of doctors and other health professionals in business.

In June 2012, MPS made the strategic decision that MPS Risk Solutions Limited will withdraw from the insurance market. Therefore, as current policies expire, MPS Risk Solutions will no longer be offering terms for renewal or extensions of cover.

We will issue reminders at least 30 days in advance of expiry date but in the meantime policyholders may wish to start considering alternatives for future cover.

MPS Risk Solutions continues as an insurance company regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. All current policies will remain in force until the end of the contracted period. Any claims brought against policyholders whilst their policy is in force will continue to be managed to the highest standard using the same claims expertise that already exists.
